Chemical Land Boom – 20cm x 3M, Absorbs 288L

CBLE4 is our larger diameter Chemical land boom. The CBLE4 boom offers excellent absorbency in dealing with aggressive fluids such as hydrofluoric, sulphuric, nitric, phosphoric, and hydrochloric acids as well as general spills. Bright yellow in colour, the CBLE4’s are highly visible in the work-place environment and can be placed around industrial equipment to prevent larger spills from contaminating floor surfaces. The CBLE4’s should be included as part of your company’s chemical spill control contingency plan or whenever there is a requirement to tackle spills of an unidentifiable nature. Each CBLE4 boom is 3M in length and 20cm in diameter and has an absorbent capacity of 72 litres. There are 4 x CBLE4 booms per pack and they may be butted up together to form a continuous protective barrier enabling the user to mould the booms around any object. The CBLE4 booms are dense enough that once placed in position they should remain in place. CBLE4’s are poly-wrapped which means they stay clean and uncontaminated until needed, reducing both the cost of packaging and disposal.

When sourcing products we look at ‘Sustainability’ as the Earths resources are a finite resource and any product that can use a recycled or reprocesed materail will be considered over one that is manufactured from raw materials.
The ‘Carbon Footprint’ of the product is also important, sourcing products from within the UK or the EU is desirable over products shipped in from across the world either by sea or air into our distribution hub.

For some products, particularly those that are kits made from many components, these principles may not be possible for the whole kit, but rest assured we will source as many components according to these principles within the kit as we possible can.
